Three days overdue and still no baby.

Back to work tomorrow I guess… with no baby to speak of… yet.

Here it is, two days past the due date (the picture was taken yesterday) and the baby is doing its best to stay secure in it’s mommy’s belly. Everybody is quite anxious and the phone won’t stop ringing. tick tock tick tock….

I guess I might as well continue the countdown!

Siobhan’s belly is still there. Moving all around the place but nothing seems to want to come out. My belly has lost it’s collections of butterflies, but I think that’s because the gorillas have started playing paintball and scared the butterflies away.

The baby has to be close. Siobhan was up for most of the night due to the discomfort. Her back is shot and she can’t lay on her side comfortably anymore. The ultrasound gave us the due date, but we have it figured out to be next weekend. I hope it doesn’t take that long for Siobhan’s sake. The poor girl is suffering throught the nights and having a hard time during the days.

And there is no baby in sight. Siobhan is upstairs watching March of the Penguins and showing no signs of needed to go to the hospital. I am afraid to go anywhere without her now because the baby could come at any time. Looks like I’ll be playing with my XBox today and watching lots of TV.

On another note, Phoebe Jeddore has a planned induction on Thursday if her baby doesn’t come out any sooner. Good Luck!

As an update to the “1” post. Phoebe and Jordan are back home… no baby yet.

I never thought butterflies could drive ATVs, but it sure feels like they are learning! Tomorrow is the due date and Siobhan is feeling all kinds of discomfort… the baby’s head is engaged (down in the birth canal) and now it’s just a waiting game!

Good luck to our friends Phoebe and Jordan Jeddore who went to the hospital yesterday! Phoebe’s contractions have since subsided and now she’s waiting for Siobhan to join her at the hospital. Phoebe’s due date was the 13th and Siobhan’s is the 15th.

We also wish good luck to Gwen and Roland Collier. We hope everything works out with your baby, be sure to keep us posted!

Our luggage is all packed and waiting by the door. Thanks to Brian Benoit for the laptop so I can upload some pics while we are at the hospital. We are ready to go at any time now! *GULP*

Funny how this countdown seems to be flying by really fast!
